Last night we went to Paint Nite for my friend's 30th birthday. If you haven't heard of it or tried it, the company hosts painting parties at local pubs/restaurants. There were about 30-40 people there. Everyone paints the same picture and the instructor goes step by step. They provide all of the materials you need.
It was so cool and also interesting to see everyone's art work. Definitely check it out if they're offered in your area. I would do it again for sure! Currently, Living Social and Groupon have deals for Paint Nite for $25 (versus $45).

My girl friends and I did a Paint and Sip this weekend! For some reason we thought we'd give Van Gogh's "Starry Night" a try. Needless to say, none of us was impressed with our finished pieces.
